At arthaus Bathroom & Kitchen, transforming spaces into minimalist masterpieces that stand the test of time is what we do best.
Our latest project in Ashgrove, carried out by Luke Redpath Building Services and designed by Ady Interiors, reflects our commitment to creating spaces as functional as they are beautiful.
The homeowners wanted a spacious and simple home, focusing on neutral, earthy tones and clean lines. One of the key design choices was to use microcementing in the bathrooms instead of traditional tiles, which enhanced the minimalist appeal but did present a unique challenge for installing the fixtures. The outcome is stunning and creates a finish that is both on-trend yet genuinely timeless.
The sleek and functional Villeroy & Boch Vita collection was the perfect tapware to match the minimalist microcement finish. The Vita Wall Mounted Basin Mixers in the bathroom and the Vita Kitchen Mixer, all in Brushed Nickel, seamlessly complement the home's understated elegance.
The choice of baths was also pivotal to the project's minimalist theme. The Bette Lux Drop-In Bath and the Villeroy & Boch O.Novo CastStone Freestanding Bath are standout features, providing a luxurious yet understated bathing experience.
Practicality was also a key consideration, especially given the husband's height at 6'3". We ensured that the Grace Wall Faced Pans, vanities, and kitchen benches were slightly higher to accommodate his comfort without sacrificing style.
