Andrea Dostalova

What kind of experience do you have in the industry?
I have worked in the interior design industry for more than 10 years! I have a large scope of experience having previously worked with high-end furniture, flooring and now bathroom design. I love it so much that I obtained formal education as interior designer.

What is your favourite product in the showroom and why?
I love the new technology we are seeing in the bathroom space. Our smart toilets in particular are perfect example of how great design, quality and technology can come together. So I would have to say our smart toilets are my favourite product.

What is the best advice that you give your clients?
I believe in a holistic approach. So I always advise my clients to bring along their floor plans, paint swatches and any rough sketches they have when they visit our showroom. That way I can see a full picture of what they want and guide them to achieve the best result.

What makes you passionate about working at arthaus?
I love seeing my clients ecstatic with the final product. Their happy faces when the project is finished is priceless to me.

How do you like to spend your Sunday?
I love to wake up early and walk my dog then go for small trips around Brisbane. Sunday afternoons are sacred to me as I spend this time with my friends and family.

 

Richard Moore

What kind of experience do you have in the industry?

I’ve been in the Bathroom & Kitchen industry for over 20 years. Starting out as the one who delivered your products, while also learning about them. Now I’m the one that helps you find the best fittings for your dream bathroom. I’m truly passionate about Bathroom and Kitchen design. I love helping people reach their bathroom goals, being involved with luxury products and all aspects of design.

What is your favourite product in the showroom and why?

The Villeroy & Boch ViConnect Cistern. I love all the new hidden tech that just works. Luxury is not always what looks great, it’s what will be reliable and timeless. The Villeroy & Boch Cisterns have a tough cable button flush system, which is very dependable. The button selection is stylish and covers all design themes. Ticks all the boxes for me. You don’t have to be afraid of the in-wall toilet any longer.

What is the best advice that you give your clients?

Choose your basin style and shape first, this makes the selection of all your other fittings so much easier.

What makes you passionate about working at arthaus?

Being involved with my customers bathroom aspirations. Helping with layout, design and showing them the perfect products to make it all possible. My “cherry on top” is the happy snaps of the dream bathroom at the end of it all. Gives me the good feels.

How do you like to spend your Sunday?

I like to go on bushwalks with the family, or just a bit of a fossick in the garden. And I can’t forget to play Minecraft with my son.

 

Kathy Hampel

What kind of experience do you have in the industry?

I’ve been working in the luxury bathroom and kitchen industry for over 15 years!

What is your favourite product in the showroom and why?

I don’t have a favourite as we are spoilt with such an extensive range of beautiful quality bathroom products.

What is the best advice that you give your clients?

The reality is we aren’t updating our bathrooms every couple of years so I recommend choosing quality, reliable, stylish products that will stand the test of time.

What makes you passionate about working at arthaus?

I love being able to work with the client to understand their goals and requirements and then use that knowledge to design a bathroom that is both beautiful AND functional.

How do you like to spend your Sunday?

I like to start my morning with a coffee and a beautiful walk around Brisbane with my husband and fur baby!
