Argent’s Evoke Smart Toilet Is Changing Expectations

There is a quiet shift happening in how bathrooms are being designed. The toilet has always been essential, but the role it plays within the space has evolved well beyond basic function, with comfort, hygiene and everyday usability now shaping how it is chosen.

Smart toilets sit at the centre of that shift, and Evoke by Argent delivers it within a familiar form while redefining how it should perform.

A better everyday experience

Bathrooms are no longer treated as purely functional spaces. They are expected to support daily routines in a way that feels comfortable, considered and aligned with how we live, placing greater emphasis on wellbeing, hygiene and personal care.

The inclusion of a smart toilet reflects that shift. Evoke reframes an everyday routine into an experience that prioritises comfort, hygiene and personal wellbeing. Water-based cleansing reduces reliance on paper, while adjustable settings, warm air drying and temperature control allow each interaction to be tailored to individual preference. Thoughtful details, such as a heated seat and seamless control, enhance comfort in a way that feels natural rather than excessive.

What was once routine becomes something more refined, with a clear focus on comfort, hygiene and self-care.

Hygiene, handled differently

Hygiene is often discussed in terms of cleaning, but Evoke approaches it through design and function.

Front and rear cleansing provide a more thorough, water-based clean, while the self-cleaning wand rinses automatically before and after each use. A UV sanitising mode activates between uses, supporting a higher level of hygiene within the bowl and surrounding components.

GlazePlus, a premium ceramic glaze, further enhances hygiene by creating a smoother, less porous surface that helps waste wash away more easily with every flush. A discreet hygiene seal between the seat and pan also supports improved cleanliness in areas that are typically difficult to reach.

Automated features, including the automatic opening and closing seat and lid, help reduce touchpoints throughout use. Combined, these elements create a bathroom experience that feels consistently cleaner without requiring constant attention.

Comfort that becomes expected

What often stands out is how quickly the experience becomes familiar.

A heated seat, adjustable water temperature and warm air drying all contribute to a level of comfort that feels natural rather than excessive. Soft night lighting allows for use without harsh overhead illumination, supporting a more considered nighttime experience.

Designed to sit within the space

For a smart toilet to feel right in the home, it needs to work with the bathroom’s overall design, not against it.

Evoke has been designed with that in mind. Smooth contours and clean lines give it a balanced, architectural form that sits comfortably alongside basins, furniture and tapware, allowing it to feel integrated within the room.

A shift in expectation

Once a smart toilet becomes part of everyday life, expectations around comfort and hygiene naturally evolve.

The experience of water-based cleansing introduces a different way of approaching personal care, offering an additional layer of comfort and confidence within the bathroom. Rather than replacing familiar routines, it builds on them, bringing a more considered, personalised experience to everyday use.
